Help I accidentally moved the Parallels folder while organizing my documents

I immediately moved it back, but now all my short cuts dont work. It says "this application is installed on a virtual machine that cannot be located. Make sure that the virtual machine hasn't been deleted or moved to another location".

Even after moving the file back it says this. Also my machine name is now Windows 7 (1) (1) (1) (1).

I am lost here. Please any help would be good. I am running Lion.

What happens if you quit Parallels, then just double click on the virtual hard drive file to start the emulation? If that works it's probably the easiest way to show Parallels where the emulation files now are.

You could try deleting all the Windows Application helpers that Parallels created so that Parallels will recreate them when you run the virtual machine again.

Or you can disable the "Share Windows applications with Mac" option which will also delete the helpers. Then turn the option back on to recreate the helpers.

For Parallels Desktop 7, the helper apps are at "~/Applications (Parallels)"

I fixed it by deleting short cuts and letting parallels recreate the short cuts and renaming a few extensions.

    Thank you for your replys
