I have two macs on my network. I sit/work at one (we'll call it "A") and I want to print to a printer that is attached to Mac "B." Sharing is setup correctly on the Mac side, and I can print a file (from the Mac OS) of Mac A to the printer on Mac B. I am running Parallels Version 5 on Mac A, the Windows version is XP SP2. When I try to print from the Windows VM on Mac A (using the HP Color Laserjet 8500 PS Printer driver) to the printer that is shared from Mac B, I get no output from the printer on Mac B. The Mac OS X print queue sees the print job, and actually says it has completed, but the printer doesn't do anything. Again, it works fine if I originate the print job from the Mac side of Mac A. I have installed the Bonjour for Windows app in the VM on Mac A, but it only sees the printers attached to Mac A directly, it does not see the shared printer that is attached to Mac B. Can anyone help me resolve this?
Additional Information The printer in question is an Epson Workforce 1100. It does not support Postscript. Since my first post I've upgraded to Parallels version7, but I still have the same problem. Argh.
