I am unable to print to my HP LaserJet 4050TN under Parallels.

I print to this printer on the Mac side via AppleTalk (Ethernet network connected to AirPort Extreme (g) base station; Parallels setup according to the manual for network printing). The printer supports TCP/IP, and when I print a configuration page it shows up with an IP address (10.0.1.7 most recently). Still, when I try to set up the printer with XP Add Printer Wizard, it can't find it. I tried installing Bonjour for Windows and it had no effect.

I can ping the printer using the command line, but that's it.

Is this fixed in the latest beta? Any suggestions?

    Dear Alipka

since you are able to ping the printer...
add printer, local printer (uncheck auto detect) and select standard TCP/IP, when prompted, type in the ip address... that should do it...

    Thanks for the reply, leejsci.

There are couple of problems with you suggestion. First of all, the IP is determined by DHCP, hence it will be different everytime the printer is turned on.

Second, the issue of why is doesn't show up is there. I am able to find a Brother HL-5250DN, which is a very comparable printer. And why doesn't it show up with Bonjour?

It seems like a Parallels problem. Any thoughts?
