Windows Will not Install, on boxed or beta?

Hi,

Got a copy of parallels from the online store, tried to install windows xp pro, says

Error in winnt.inf, line 3. Setup cannot continue.

There are legit parallels and windows discs (I'm a corporate sysadmin) but any build beat or stable I try and any XP Pro disc returns the same result.

It's a macbook with 2GB ram, dual core.

Any ideas?

 

Yes try booting from CD-ROM are you using an upgrade or full verison?

have you try typical install?? instead of express?
