mac observer/ars technica mention 3168 as final build

    I know. I saw this too. I wonder why it would be 3168 though. I thought RC3 was 3170.

    the build number they're saying is 3186...

    Well let's hope 3186 is GA quality. Given the issues that are present in 3170 I have a hard time believing everything is fixed in just 16 builds :)

    I envision Parallels' helpdesk being swamped with costly calls for support.

    are there really that many show stoppers or are most of them now just annoyances.

    One man's annoyance is another man's show stopper.

    It seems reasonable to assume that people don't buy Macs primarily to run Windows.

    If that one obscure bit of windows software or hardware that doesn't work is the one obscure bit of windows software or hardware that was stopping you getting a Mac, and that Parallels offered the answer to, then game over.
