    Hi,

anyone tried some apps like Catia or Unigraphics ?
I am wondering if they need 3D acceleration to work well or not.
UG was not working in Virtual PC, that wasn't able to handle graphics.

    Thanks !

nobody cares about CAD applications ?
I thought virtualisation would have been one big reason for many to CAD engineer to switch to mac....

am using AutoCad 2002, does that count? don't need openGL for my uses, but 3D modelling works.
it pauses with some commands, processor use goes to 100% but starts working again-- the pauses happen with certain commands (Scale) and happened this morning with moving an xref around. the pause is not 100% repeatable, first scale command will cause a pause, 2nd or 3rd will not, then next time i scale will cause the pause.
