Now my bootcamp partition doesn't mount on my desktop when I quit parallels (windows shut down first of course), not like it matters but now when I start my VM it slows down my whole machine, before it finally flips and POSTs.

    So.... this is the final.

Why don't you try going into Disk Utility and manually remounting the partition?

I reported the same problem a while back and am still experiencing it...

The partition seems to have vanished from OS X but Parallels still seems to boot from it. Restarting, mounting in Disk Utility or in Terminal all do not fix the problem. :(
