I got an eMail about the new update , I believe it is 3186. When I click on update when running Parallels 1970 it tells me my version is the latest version. When I click on the update link in the email I got from parallels, I get an offer to buy Coherence for $79. The email said my parallels would update automatically the next time I used it, it did not. Is the update free to existing owners of parallels or not?
Why don't you just go to the Parallels web site and click Download Trial? It is exactly the same as the release product and you can use it to upgrade build 1970.
I just download the 3186 today and update ontop of the 1970 (retail box version) that I got a few days ago. It has no problem and actually make the iSight to work. Cohesion is also there.
