I'm having a problem with getting full 1280x800 screen resolution in my Parallels install of Kubuntu. I've already edited my xorg.conf file manually and using the command:
Code:
dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
The VM boots to the splash screen, lets me input my username/password, and then the Xserver restarts and takes me back to the splash screen. When I log into the console and run startx, it fails in the same manner and I get the following message:
Code:
xauth: creating new authority file /home/dan/.serverauth.4725

The annoying part is that I'm sure I had this working when I was first using parallels back last November, and I'm not sure what I'm doing differently. Any ideas?
