I am trying to run a medical billing software in Parallels and need to have it connect by modem to the central office. There is no internet connectivity. I have tried both a USR external USB modem that does work in bootcamp fine and the apple modem and both seem to fail. Anyone have any luck with either one in Parralells. I cannot connect on the mac side and then bridge to it as some have suggested in the past. The software does not use TCP/IP but uses a propietary standard and therefore the bridging option will not work... Thanks all...
I have been trying for months. I can get the Apple modem to work up until dialing but then get false static on the line and a no dialtone message. Modem works fine on Mac side.
