Host-only Networking broken in 3186?

I downloaded 3186 last night and am really impressed. Coherence is very slick. Last night, over bridged ethernet, I was fine, but today, when I had to use my mobile phone for a modem, the mac side was fine but the pc side couldn't connect using host-only networking.

I restarted the VM twice, to no avail, though I didn't do a full system restart.

    Is this a known issue?

I am not sure what you are trying to do but the host only network is designed for VM to VM and VM to OS/X communication only. It won't connect to outside.

    Shared Networking

I think he means "Shared Networking" which was the option I was using until I installed build 3186, now "Shared Networking" is disabled and the only option I have is "Bridge Ethernet" which works flawlesly.

Well, up until now, I needed to switch to host-only networking in order for the VM to use the modem connection created through OS/X. Bridged ethernet worked to provide Internet to the VM only when I had a wired or wireless ethernet connection.

So I expected the same thing after the 3186 upgrade, but it's not working.
