Vm Resolution ...help

I intalled new Parallels build and use with Macbook Pro 17. In previous build the resolution that worked best for me was 1024x768 when in full window mode. Now, regardless of if in full window, OS window or coherence, I can't seem to keep that resolution. When I strectch the window to cover the full screen, it actually changes the resoltuion. My intention is to have my windows VM cover my entire screen in 1024x768Anybody have an answer before I go blind lookng at this tiny font? thanks

that does not do the trick when needing to keep the Guest OS window as a full screen.
