I apologize if this has already been covered, but I've searched through the forum and have not been able to find an answer.

Currently, I have XP installed in Boot Camp and Vista in an VM. Now that Boot Camp supports Vista with the new release I want to reverse this--Vista in Boot Camp and XP in a VM. Is there a way to painlessly transfer my XP BC install to a VM?

I believe you can use Parallels Transporter to convert XP Boot camp install to VM.

Parallels doesn't support Vista Boot Camp partitions yet. Heard that It will be supported in their next version.

I too would like to move my

XP BC install to a VM. I purchased the retail copy of Parallels. What do I need to do to accomplish my goal?

    Thanks,

    Tom

Have you tried using a utility like Acronis and then restoring the back-up to the VM?
