[RESOLVED] Adobe PDFs won't print on XP

    Hi.

I have Windows XP SP2 on Mac OSX, and I have a network printer, a Xerox Phaser 8400.

I can print to the printer (it connects to the printer's IP address on the network), but not from Adobe Reader 8.0. It is the most updated version of Adobe reader. It just hangs the system, then I go into the printers dialog, it says that there is an error.

I've also reinstalled Parallels tools, in case that was holding things back.

Has anyone had a similar problem, or know what I can do to try to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

do you have to install a printer driver for a network printer?

    is it the latest?

I think you mean acrobat reader
it often messes me about gettting updates and causing hangs
try running the adobe reader updater first

can you print from acrobat reader in the mac version?

    No, Adobe Reader 8.0.

I updated the driver (ugh, an unsigned one) and it appears to be working. I should have though of that.

    Thanks.
