I apologize for the very basic question.
I impoterd a Windiows VM with a custom application that makes large use of Windows specific keyboard keys, like F11, F12, DEL, and so on.
What is the simplest way to map suck keys in order to make the use as simple as possible fot the users?
Where can I find documentation about this specific subject?
    Regards

The standard Windows keyboard has keys from F1 to F12: I see then on the Mac keyboard as well, but when I press them from inside my Windows VM I don't see the result I expect...
I don't see any key similar to the Windows DEL key.
I presume there are similar Mac keys, but I am a Mac novice and I can't locate them.
    Regards

You need to set the Mac Keyboard preference (in System Preferences) to use the function keys as standard function keys (rather than the special Mac features, like Launchpad using F4).
