    Hi,

I've recently tried Parallels, and I used my Bootcamp partition. Unfortunately, I let it install the Parallels Tools in the Windows environment. Now I have the following problem.

When I restart in Windows (natively), for some daft reason it still lists all my Mac programs in an "Open with..." menu or dialog window. This is annoying, of course.

I've uninstalled the Parallels Tools, and removed the Shared Mac Applications folder from the Windows Start Menu, but what do I have to do to get rid of those silly "Open with..." options which will of course not work?

    Thanks for your help!

Try this: "Configure" your Virtual Machine... (From the Menu bar select Virtual Machine then Configure)

Choose the Options tab, then Applications in the list that appears in the sidebar. Is "Share Mac Applications with Windows" checked? Unchecking it removes the long list ofMac apps in the Windows start menu... or at least it did in mine (running XP)
