Bootcamp VM additional size?

I am about to reinstall Windows 7 through bootcamp and would like to set it up to work on Mac OS Snow Leopard through Parallels. The one question I have before I start this process (since it will affect the partition size I choose) is:

In using a bootcamp partition in Parallels, does Parallels take any additional space for that vm, or is it all stored on the actual bootcamp partition?

In other words, if I create a 100 gig bootcamp partition, will Parallels also require 100 gigs on my Mac side?

Thanks for the quick reply. If not 100 gigs, does it store any info on my mac partition? Or is it negligible?
