I really don't trust betas. Until Fusion goes final, I'm really uncomfortable just leaving my new Vista VM with a beta program. So I was wondering if there's anyway that I could copy my new Vista VM to Parallels' final version of 2.5?

I tried the Parallels transporter but unfortunately that didn't work.

Hell yeah, I tried really hard to install Vista on Parallels first. However it simply refused to install. Then I tried to install Vista on VMware's beta 3, it installed like a charm.

    Thus giving me this problem.

As I understood , you already installed Parallels Desktop and now you
are trying to perform next step - windows installation.
There are 2 ways of windows installation :

    -installation from CD
    -installation from Image File

As far , you have tried CD installation and it just froze. It sometimes
happens with our customers due to quality differences of data recorded
    to installation CD.

The solution for this problem is to make an Image of CD and install
    Windows OS from image file.

More information of detailed installation wizard get on manuals of pdf files

No. Like I said, I tried installing the Vista CD in Parallels first, that didn't work. So I installed the Vista CD into VMware's beta three application, that worked.

So all that I want to do now is to copy that VMware's Vista VM into Parallels so I would have that Vista VM working with Parallels too.

Now do you understand what I'm trying to do?

Why don't you try what "Resolver" suggested? I wouldn't try to port a VM from VMware to Parallels. You'll just wind up with a clumsy install that will frustrate you most of the time.

Get the latest build of Parallels - 3188. Use Disk Utility - the mac application for partitioning drives, burning CDs, etc - to create an image of the Vista DVD. Tell parallels to use the image file instead of the DVD.

Because I borrowed the Vista CD and I bought the license for $143.

I don't have the Vista CD.
