Will I be able to write/save onto an external hard drive formatted to NTFS using PD7? Or is it only possible using an external HDD that is formated to FAT32? Thanks!

    1) Yes. I am assuming that the drive is attached to the computer via USB. In addition, you can connect to any network drive and do the same thing

    2) You can format the drive in any configuration and it will still work.

    No it don't

No it don't work. It is formatted as NT etc. I can't access this drive from the MAC. So, I must be missing something.

    Apple response

I called Apple and was told that a MAC cannot access NTFS formatted hard disks. Told me I had to buy a separate disk and use it when backing up the MAC. Can't use the same HDD for backong up Windows and Mac files.
