Coherence issue with cursor alignment

Can anyone help?

I am using a thunderbolt external display screen for my macbook pro and when I enter coherence mode the cursor on the display screen will not line up with what I am trying to select.

Hope someone has heard of this issue.

I don't understand. Are you saying you think you click in one spot but it registers in another spot?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Parallels tools.

Thanks for your reply. I did find the issue a little difficult to explain but what you have said is exactly what I am experiencing. I will try reinstalling tools.
