I was was doing something in my Windows 7 VM and Parallels froze (beachball of death). I force quit. Now every time I start PD7 again, the VM window opens and immediately beachballs. I went into the .pvm file and moved the .mem and .sh files out, thinking that would help. It didn't. Now the VM is stuck suspending whenever I start PD7. How can I force the VM to restart? Barring that, how do I create a new VM using the existing .hdd file in the .pvm package? For some reason, this option is not available when you choose to create a new VM. Help! Steve
Why don't I ever search first when I'm in a panic? http://kb.parallels.com/6338 Solved. Still, though, if I had just a .hdd file and wanted to create a new VM from it, how would I do that? I'm pretty sure that was possible in PD6. Steve
OMG thank you! You just saved my life posting that link! I never think about looking at the knowledge base either! lol
