    Hi all,

I am experiencing a strange behavior with the USB iMic I need to use:
When I plug it in on my iMac running Parallels 3188 with Windows2000, everything is fine.

But when I plug the iMic into a MacBook/PD3188 and Windows2000, the VM shows the "new hardware"-information, instantly becomes unusable slow and freezes after some minutes.

It works fine under XP, but for some reason I have to use Win2000 with the iMic, I'd appreciate hints for solution ... thank you.

    Regards,
    Robert

PS: 10.4.9 and all updates on the Macs

Do not connect the iMic to Win2k through the USB menu.

Select the iMic as the input in your mac before you start Parallels then tell the apps in Windows to read from "Mic In" as the input. Basically you are making use of the emulated sound card to get your audio into Parallels instead of the USB interface. For this to work your VM will need to have a sound card, and the Parallels tools installed.
