When I try to install Adobe Acrobat, I run into this error.

I have plenty of hard drive space (17.9 GB free) and am installing as an administrator. Thoughts?

Does Windows recognise the extra space?

Yeah, that's where I got 17.9 GB from, looking at my "C" drive in Windows.

I actually ended up dragging the temp install files to the desktop and running it there. It worked perfectly. I have no idea what was up with that one folder...

Sounds like you had a permissions error...

I'm having the same error. Where did you find the temp install folder?

Has anyone solved this problem. I'm getting it also.

This, I believe, is where mine unzipped to. I just drug all the files to the desktop and ran set up from there. Worked just fine.

Thanks. I found a copy of Adobe version 7.9 to download. It installed without a problem. I presume that that version will eventually ask if I want to upgrade to version 8 or whatever.

    Thanks.
