I have installed Parallels 2.2 and it loads and works fine with Linux, WinXP Pro.

I am unable to get Vista to load as a Guest. It gets to loading files screen in Vista and just sits there.

    Ideas?

    Thanks

    why bother?

WinXP sp2 also is an NT shell
leave vista for at least a year to let it settle and get to sp 1

    .
If it's vista home, then it contravenes the microswift eula to install it in a vm anyway.

yes do you want to use a machine or play with it

    bit like driving a car
are you just out for a trip on a sunday afternoon?

    or going somewhere

which OS you use as a guest depends on the purpose you will use your machine for

all of us who remember Win 2000 Se and so on will always wait for SP 1 to be released
or a year before installing a new MS OS
