First...I apologize if this has been answered somewhere before. I did a search and didn't find what I'm asking. I consider myself computer saavy but I've never done anything with virtual machine/bootcamp before. Never had a need for Windows on my Mac until recently. I have a Macbook and was using Parallels 7 to run Windows 7 but it was really, really slow. I did some research I found I should have more ram for it to run smoother and faster. Until I buy more ram I thought I'd set up Bootcamp so I used the Uninstall option from the dmg. That went fine but the Guide says this only uninstalls Parallels not the virtual machine and its files. How do I check or delete any Win7 files before I setup Bootcamp? It seems a though a lot of my hardrive space is being used that I can't imagine should be gone and I don't want things on their twice. Thanks for any help!
I got it figured out...got some help from a friend of mine. I did a search for .pvm and found one called Windows that was 33 GB. I deleted it and am good to go with setting up Bootcamp. Yay!
