I have a brand new MacBook Pro and need to be able to run my business applications; i.e. Windows, Word, etc. from this computer, not to mention be able to access VPN networks. I have everything I need except Parallels. Now, the question is do I need the Switch to Mac Edition or only the Parallels Desktop 7? I have already purchased a new version of Windows 7 as well as Office Mac, but after spending about 2 hours on the Internet still cannot find a clear, concise answer to my question.

    Can somebody please help????

    Hi,

You may need Switch to Mac if you already have a PC and want to migrate it to your Parallels Desktop.

If you want to make a fresh installation of Windows on your Mac - Parallels Desktop 7 is the only thing you need.
