I currently have my VM (Parallels folder) on an external drive. The drive has been acting up lately so I want to move it to back to my new iMac and let Time Machine do backups on it. Is this as easy as copying the one file (WIN.PVM)from the external drive to a Parallels folder on my iMac and changing the preferences to show that folder?

    Running Parallels 7 (15054), Windows 7, and iMac OS X 10.7.6

That's right. All you need to do is to move pvm file and double click it at the new location.
