I have converted all my mac mini to sung small SSD drives and store everything on a 16TB raid shared via NFS,

When I try to create a VM it tells me I do not have permission to create it in the folder.
I tested to make sure I do in fact have full read/write access by creating several folders with folders inside those.

With the OS and all our development tools installed there is about 300-400M free so storing my VM locally is not an option.

I found a solution. I'm not sure of the specifics but I imagine it has to do with cross compatibility of security between parallels and NFS.

What I had to do was check the box for "Share with other users on this mac"

So if anyone comes across this hopefully they find this post and it helps.

I take it back, I quickly ran out of room and realized it was putting the files elsewhere.

    I need a fix

I tried to copy the vm to the correct dir and I still get the error, it says Problem ID: 99

It makes no sense as I have full r/w access to the directory.
