Hi, I've searched many threads and haven't found my specific problem - hope I'm not duplicating anything here. I'm on a MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.7.3. I've been running Parallels for a while with no problems (running a Windows XP Pro VM), but this morning upgraded to Build 7.0.15055. Since installing that upgrade, I have two problems:

    1) Parallels Tools installer hangs repeatedly at 60% and will go no further (nor will it end with an error message). Virus scanning is turned off during the install.

    2) I have no network access (either internet or to shared Windows folders/resources).

I've tried the suggestions of deleting the "Parallels Tools" directory from the Program Files and deleting the registry entries for Parallels Tools, but each time I try again after a Windows reboot I see the same behavior.

I'm reluctant to uninstall the whole Parallels application, but am unsure what else to try.

While the Parallels Tools installer is running (hanging), I see a steady memory usage of 1.05GB in the Mac Activity Monitor (I've allocated 1392MB out of 4GB of physical memory).

Any suggestions out there? Thanks in advance for your help....

    Never mind

After the 8th time rebooting the Windows VM, something happened and it's all working fine now. I guess that's comforting??
