I'm new around here, but I just wanted to put this out here.

The mouse inside of a Parallels VM of windows is rubbish.

When it comes to games I mean, I've been playing League of legends and Star Wars the Old Republic (MMO) and I couldnt pin point the issues I was having, something was just off. Besides the disappearing cursor and the random spinning camera on right click.

I realised the mouse is lagged.

It jitters all over the place and is just not smooth.

Any one else experience this? is it something thats on the todo list for fixing?

    Thoughts, comments?

Open virtual machine Configuration > Options > Advanced > Optimize for games

    This does not help.

Mostly in full screen games where you scroll around the map by pressing the mouse against the side of the window.

When using multiple screens the mouse just leaves the VM.

    Hello JuiceD,

Already answered in multiple post. Take a look at this thread:http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=257942 and read what i wrote. You can read this too:http://startfrag.com/parallels-desktop-6/. Actually the workaround is to attach a second mouse directly to the VM(fullscreen) and play windowed(game) to ovoid hidden mouse pointer (which occurs when a mouse is directly attached).

And for YanaYana some posts related to this problem:
    http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=94590
    http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=113589
    http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=108407

There was a kb related to this problem which explains the hard task to translate host coordinate to guest coordinate using host acceleration, but impossible to find it. Maybe YanaYana will have more luck with the search engine.
