I have a problem after my last upgrade of Debian Testing (wheezy). Xorg is failing and sending GDM3 crazy.

Uninstall and reinstall of Parallels tools did not help. I've turned off the desktop for the time being.

    latest error in /var/log/Xorg.?.log is:

Fatal server error: f86OpenConsole: Cannot find a free VT

    latest errors in /var/log/parallels.log are:

Error: no prebuilt modules for X server (1.12.1)
Error: Can not detect X server modules install source directory

    Anyone else having this?

For a wild shot in the dark - Is this something to do with the prl-x11 service and new Xorg or kernel?

Currently Parallels Tools only supports up to xorg 1.11.4, so any Distro using a version greater than that will have problems (until we get an update that supports the 1.12.x releases).

    OK, thanks.

    Disappointed.

I wonder how long it will take for the Parallels devs to catch up.

Thanks for your time, I appreciate it.
