    Hi!
I’m currently thinking of buying a new MacBook Pro 15 Retina Edition 2012 laptop.

I’m a programmer currently learning the massively parallel CUDA programming. I also do a lot of virtualization on Windows 7 and I would be interested to continue to virtualize systems on OS X.

For programming, I’m used to the Microsoft Visual Studio environment.

But since there is no Visual Studio for OS X, I would like to continue to use it through a virtualized environment. So, I would like to know if I virtualize a Windows 7 environment and use Visual Studio into this environment to compile CUDA programs, would it be able to run this CUDA code into the virtualized Windows 7 using the ForceWare drivers. In other words, I would like to know if the nVIDIA GPU is fully recognized as a physical video card into the virtual machine.

I know the MacBook Pro laptops are Intel VT-d ready so it is capable to virtualize the GPU with direct pass-through, but will I be able to compile without any problem CUDA code into a virtualized system?

    Thank you very much!
