OS Suspend useless in 3.0

    You cannot suspend any OS that you have activated the DirectX option for. Even sitting at the desktop of either XP or Vista and attempting a suspend prompts you to "terminate the DirectX application" before you can suspend.

    Way to go....

    works fine for me.... I have vista running with directx turned on and it suspends without complaining at all... I dont run directx in my XP vm due to another isssue, but I will try it out later today...

    Works fine for me, unless I have my logitech quickcam program open... check to make sure nothing directx is actually open!

    EDIT: After installing 3dsmax, or whatever happened between when i wrote this post and now, i cant suspend ever, and i checked my active processes and i cant seem to identify whats keeping me from doing it (I get the directx error now all the time)

    XP SP2 suspends OK here. DirectX is enabled.
