Hello all, I have a MacBook Pro and have dual booted (through BootCamp) Windows 7. I bought Parallels and pointed it at my Windows 7 BootCamp instance. Most of the time I boot directly into Windows 7 and everything runs fine. However, ocassionally I need to boot into Mac OS and open up Windows 7 through Parallels. This, too, works fine. However, the next time I restart and boot into Windows Directly, I am asked to run CHKDSK and it looks like some of the disk is messed up. Has anyone run into this issue? Thank you!
i am currently having this issue and can be reproduced. has op found a solution? anyone else experiencing this? tripleboot (osx, win7, ubuntu) mac os x lion 10.7.4 parallels 7 after using parallels on mac, then reboot to win7 partition, chkdsk activates to clean "dirty disk" yet not reporting any errors.
Stupid question: are you shutting down or restarting correctly from the Start menu when you leave Windows? Steve
i usually put it into sleep mode... do you think this could be/is the cause? i have the same set up on another laptop and don't recall the issue ever occurred. i will have to test.... thanks.
