I just upgraded to PD8 and started my Ubuntu VM it has lost the mouse and I have a quarter of the screen as a green block. I can't do anything with it...

Just a heads up to be careful and remember to do a back up before installing.

    Hi,
thank you for feedback, we do appreciate it!
To investigate the issue we need some technical information, so could you please reproduce it, send us Problem Report as described in http://kb.parallels.com/en/9058 and give me an ID?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ubuntu 12.04 works for me

Thanks for the warning about Ubuntu. I backed up my VM before I tried it. My Ubuntu 12.04 (created in Parallels 7) seems to work fine in Parallels 8. I reinstalled Parallels Tools successfully. My installation won't work with dual monitors but that was the same for me in Parallels 7.
