    White Macbook (Feb 08), 2.1GHz C2D, 4GB, Leopard 10.5.8, Parallels 5, Windows 7 Pro 64

Windows 7 installed and worked fine the very first time that it installed and rebooted. During that one session I installed Parallel Tools and a few Windows Updates. After reboot, I get to the logon screen and can see the 'Ease of Access' icon, the 'Windows 7 Professional' logo and wording, and the 'Shut Down' and 'Shut Down Options' buttons but everything else is black; there is no username or password box.

I have gone through all of 'repair' options from the CD with my next steps being a) reinstall Parallels or b) reinstall XP then 7 again (which I really, really don't want to do). Are there any suggestions on what may be causing this problem?

    Thanks!
