I have been running Windows 8 Consumer Preview in Parallels 7. This weekend, I installed Parallels 8, and now it is no longer possible to drag files from the Mac side into Windows 8. I tried reinstalling Parallels Tools and turning sharing on and off to no avail.

Anyone have any thoughts on what might be the issue?

    Thanks.

    A few more details:

It seems like the root of the problem is a process called "Parallels Control Center." That process jumps to take up 50% of available CPU resources when I try to drag and jump from mac to windows, and it stays at 50% until I manually end it.

One final update -- the same problem persists even with the RTM build of Windows 8.
