In my Parallels 8 Windows XP guest session the graphics are much slower than they were in PD7. Is there any fix or settings I can try?

I should add that I use Coherence.

Do you also have more than one display?

No, just one. My MAC's 'About This MAC' says "Graphics ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB".

Ok, lets start over. Can you submit a problem report via Parallels Help menu and post report ID here.
Is it a particular application that is slower?

Do you see the same effect in windowed or full screen modes? May be it's just standard OS X window open animation.

    No, I don't. It's just a problem with Coherence.

There are other problems that you maybe aware of when using Coherence.

    1. When 'Use Crystal Mode' is selected there is no Parallels 'Check for Updates' option, and sometimes when applications like Excel 2010 are open I can't page between Excel Windows.

    2. When 'Use Crystal Mode' is NOT selected, using fn+F2 and fn+F4 under XP to access the functionality of the F2 and F4 doesn't work.

I too am noticing horrible graphics performance with PD8. Particularly when I minimize Outlook or any other Windows Office app and then click on the icon in the dock to reopen it. It literally "crawls" open very slowly and jerky. It is very annoying to say the least. Does it on both of my systems and the MacBook Pro has the 1GB graphics card.

I should add I use it in Coherence mode.
