I am running Windows 7 in Parallels 6 on a full-spec MacBokAir. It worked fine for some time but now I get svchost using 50% CPU and WmiPrvSE using 30% - 40% at the same time. They seem to wait for each other. This happens very often and lasts for for anything between 3 minutes to endless.
I have the latest version of Parallels and every update possible on Windows. Checking and stopping services as suggested on the net and Microsoft does not help.
I have looked in Windows and found that some of the services want to connect to 0.0.0.0:xxxx on the network. I cannot figure out what that address is.

I run the exact same Windows 7 (32-bit) on a standard PC and have no problem at all so I figure it may be a problem with Parallels.

Has anyone come across this or even better have a solution?

    Thank you.

I am having the same issues. Both of these processes are using a lot of CPU and causing the image to sit constantly at 100%. This drains the battery of my MacBook Air considerably. To the point that I cannot use Parallels when using battery alone. I am also running Windows 7

Is there there any fix to this issue
