See this thread for more information. MacBook Pro CD Xp Pro VM Parallels 3.0 4124 Parallels tools will not install. Anyone have any idea how to force the installation? I have cancelled the install via the menu bar and then initiated the Tools installation but no dice. Any help out there?

Parrallel tools not installing on xserver windows 2003 VM Similiar problem running wibndows 2003 server on a quad 3 ghz xserve 16 gb ram, 1.5tb The old verion .hdd converted(?) but tools won't install. Stalls at configuring and that's where it stays. Thought it would be worth re imaging hte 2003 server but: Now I am wondering where the parallels transporter for windows is with this build is as the transporter gave me a message when I get to choosing remote machine - "Parallels Transporter has detected that Parallels Transporter Agent has another build number then Parallels Transporter. Please install consistent version" Anyone got any ideas?
See this thread here. I got it working by uninstalling the DVD drive in the Windows Control Panel Device Manager. I had tried disconnecting the CD/DVD under "devices" but that didn't work. Thanks guys!!
