Hey all- I activated MS Office Home and Student 2007 just find under bootcamp. I then discovered that it wanted me to do it again under Parallels. Guess it sees it as a different machine; ok. When I start Word (under Parallels 8) it prompts me to activate. If I try to do it over the internet, it comes back and says that all the licenses have been used. True, but I've formatted over two of the three installs, so I know I'm legit. But at least the internet option "works". Here's the problem. When I choose the "Activate via a phone call" option and hit Next, the window completely disappears. Gone. It's supposed to display the Installation ID, the big long number that MS uses to authenticate the install. But, no joy. I've tried it multiple times, did it with internet access disconnected, as MS requested, still no joy. I could activate it if the next window would come up like it's supposed to. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks- Dave
i suggest you to reinstall Parallels Tools - this is the video issue i suppose. Go to Virtual machine menu --> Reinstall Parallels Tools
