Hi All I have upgraded my Parallels to version 3 and to my main problem is that I cannot uninstall the parallel tools so that I can install the new version 3. I have searched the forum and there are plenty of threads for starting in safe mode with networking and then uninstall. The problem is that I keep receiving a message advising me that the Parallels Tools require that your Windows is running under Virtual Machine. The installation will be stopped. Can anyone help me please? Thanks in advance.
Why do you want to uninstall the old version tools first? Installing the 3.0 tools replaces the old set automatically. Just upgrade to 3.0 and install the new tools. If the VM crashes, start it in safe mode and install the tool from there.
