I've installed Ubuntu, the Linux for 'human beings', and all goes well, except for networking.

I cannot connect to my wifi network. I downloaded the latest beta 6, the one with the wifi fix, and it does work in XP, just not in Ubuntu.

In fact, during the install process of Ubuntu, it could not detect the DHCP setting of my machine.

I have tried to manually configure it in the network settings, but to no avail.

Can someone tell me what those settings should be?

I had the same problem with my Ubuntu install. Didn't seem to recognize the network driver. Hope someone know the answer to this one. Ubuntu is a great distro.
