    Hi BAGgggg,

Welcome to Parallels Forums. Your request for help has generated a few views but we want to make sure that we are understanding your actual issue. Our forum participants are usually the first to jump in and help but we are always here to help as well!

Please clarify that you seem to have two virtual machines that have been created when you were going through the installation process?
If that is the case, the fix is quick and simple. You may have just created a shell of a VM with the Mac OS. To remove this, simply shutdown the VM you want to delete and then click the File Menu (at the top)>Remove. You will receive a popup asking how you want to remove it, just select the option to put it to Trash.

Let us know if that helps. If it does, we will change the Forum so that the other users are able to find it in the search.

    Thanks, Andrew

no doesn't help, i have parallels on my macbook. i want to run only windows, and not OSX in the background.. i know you have a choice when you first download the program but i didn't think it would be as slow as it really is, so i want to run only the windows operating system and not anything else

I assume your virtual machine is running in Coherence now. Please click on the Parallels sign (two red lines) at the top right corner of your screen and select Exit Coherence. Your VM will switch to the Window mode. If you want it to take the full screen, just click on the View option at the top Mac menubar and chose Full Screen.

BAGgggg, Parallels Desktop for Mac is designed to run Windows and Mac OS seamlessly. It cannot wipe out your Mac OS. I can only suggest it to switch your virtual machine to Full Screen mode.
Another option it to install Windows in your BootCamp partition, which is a native Mac OS feature:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1461

By the way, if the need arises, you can boot back to Mac OS X and run your BootCamp based Windows in Parallels Desktop for Mac.

UGH, i know this man. I'm tryna say, when you first install the program it asks you if you would like to download it to where it boots up windows 8, or it run's a percentage of both operating systems....i chose the second option and want to use the first option.

I've attached the screenshot of what you see on the virtual machine create stage.

Did you choose to migrate Windows? Or download virtual appliances? If you want to get rid of the virtual machines you don't need, just hit File --> Remove at the Mac upper menubar. To create a new one, click on File --> New VM.
