Did anybody get any USB webcams to work in Beta6, I'd love to be able to do this so that my kids could use MSN with video in XP.

I hoped it was possible with Beta 6 to use webcams but my Philips NC300 webcam is still not working though it is recognized by XP. I also only need a webcam for MSN because that is the defacto standard for videochat.

I'd like to get this going as well - but my problem (as well as just getting it to work) is the new webcams are USB2 and require the higher speed throughput. Currently USB 1.1 is the only thing supported.

Parallels team - is USB2 support on the horizon?

    Thanks,
    Shane.

USB2 devices should also work. The only limitation of USB support in 2.1 - lack of support for isochronous devices (web camera is probably the case).

We already work on it and will add support for isochronous devices in next version.
