Normally there are a set of toolbar buttons that run down the right side of the VM file when you have selected it inside the parallels desktop. After a crash, i have no buttons--No start, Pause, Snapshots, Coherence and most importantly, the smartslect stuff (at least that's where i remember something existing that allowed me to change smart select...) Anyway, they are all gone! How can I get them back and turn off that D**M smartselect?? I hate that it wants to launch word (via firefox) everytime i click on a word doc in the Mac. I tried resetting the smartslect before the crash and it has not worked. HELP! (v3 4128)
Wow! very good. Is that some sort of standard UI thing? Jeeze--I just played with it elsewhere and it is! Dooh!
Yep it is... I'm glad it works now. Unfortunately, this little nice feature is implemented very inconsistently into applications. I like it.
