I'm running Parallels 7 and windows Vista. When the battery life on my laptop is low, usually around 5-8%, parallels crashes.

Previously, the power setting for Windows was set to "parallels", but somehow it has changed and is running on it's own and can no longer function at low battery life.

Does anyone know how to fix Parallels to get the battery settings to run in sync with my computer's battery settings?

Try to play with Parallels Desktop power settings in Virtual Machine > Configure > Options > Optimization.

Also what do you mean when saying Parallels crashes? Does it just go down, or Windows crashes?
Or does it go into "Suspended" state?

Thanks for your reply. I tried changing the Optimization settings, and I currently have them at Performance: Faster Mac and Power: Better Performance.

I meant that Windows actually crashes and I am required to restart Parallels. When Windows starts up again, it shows the error screen (forced shutdown due to low battery).
