Just installed Parallels can't use Bootcamp

    Does the disk contain your Mac OS X partition? If so, then you need to boot from a different disk.

    yeah makes sense, but how do i boot osx from a different disk? Can I install it on usb or ipod and boot from there?

    Yes, you can install Mac OS X to an external USB or FireWire drive and boot from it. It's always handy to a have a second drive to boot from when doing partitioning work.

    I think only the old FireWire iPods were usable as an external harddrive. If you don't have one of those, then you'll need to use something else.
