In PD8, the Preferences pane option for "System Shortcuts" is not working properly for me. The option "On Condition" is not being respected even if the VM is in focus. The only way to send system keys (like Cmd + Tab) to the VM is forcing this setting to "Always"... My version: 8.0.18101 with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit guest.
The same is happening to me, with Windows 8 and Parallels 8.0.18345. I have the default shortcuts preferences chosen in Parallels preferences (including "On Condition) but when I hit command-tab while in my Windows 8 VM it will invoke the mac's app switcher. Is there a fix for this, am I misunderstanding something, or is the "On Condition" function currently broken?
The setting definitely appears to be broken, at least as far as it doesn't appear to behave as described. Setting it to 'always' appears to be the only way to make it work. My versions: OS X 10.8.2 Parallels Build 8.0.18354 Windows XP
