It's not possible to remove it using the customize toolbar option - how can it be removed?

    Thanks.

It's a Safari extension. Menu: Safari>Settings>Extensions - there you'll find the Parallels extension (looks like a black IE icon). Just deactivate and it's gone.

This was an extremely helpful post, thank you.

I am offended that parallels put that into safari on my mac, without notifying me, without asking, etc. The only way I found out was googling how to remove it. Really poor practice guys.

Ha. I had the exactly OPPOSITE problem. i could not find out how to install it even though it was already in my extensions folder. Double clicking it solved that problem for me.

I do not want to just deactivate it, I want it gone. I do not like any mention of Edge within MacOS, even if ostensibly "disabled".
I only run Linux VMs and refuse to allow anything related to Microsoft on my Mac.
Is there a way to completely remove it?
